VIP Sponsor Client Ticketing Program at the 2002 Olympic
Winter Games in Salt Lake City
The
NBC Olympic Ticket Office began on-site operations six weeks
prior to the Salt Lake Winter Games when we established
vault procedures and secured the $7.5 million, 40,000 hard
ticket inventory.
Computer
accounts were set up for every program attendee; tickets
were assigned to each invitee's account, and then delivered
by our highly-experienced staff from the VIP Will-Call and
Ticket Services desk.
VIP
"gold medal treatment" was given by satisfying
every guest's preference - including last-minute ticket
exchanges, and co-promotional programs were developed with
local / regional organizations resulting in the resale of
$750,000 in 'unused' ticket inventory!
